An exceptional rosewood coffee table, designed by Hans Olsen for Møbelfabrikken Norden around 1958 and a distinctive example of Danish mid-century modern design. Olsen's approach to multifunctionality is clear here. The top slides open to receive a removable serving tray, which fits neatly into the tabletop when in use. When it isn't needed, the tray rests on the lower shelf, where its black formica inlay contrasts with the warm grain of the rosewood. The proportions are low and restrained, and the table works equally well as a coffee table or a serving piece for entertaining. Its sculptural presence and rich rosewood also make it a statement or accent piece in its own right, able to anchor a living space or add character to a more neutral interior.

Ceramic bottles not included in the price.

Fully restored by our workshop, this table is in excellent vintage condition, retaining its original patina and character.
