A rare dry bar by Guzzini for Stilglass Donati, Italy, 1970s, conceived as a complete composition in two pieces. The counter is built around a semi-cylindrical mirrored volume that houses a working refrigerator, flanked by two glass doors for cocktail glasses and bar accessories. Above it, a wall-mounted shelving unit of five white tubes carries four integrated spotlights, which turn the display of bottles and glassware into a lit feature. The strict black and white palette, the reflections of the mirror and the bold geometry capture the confidence of 1970s Italian design. A true statement piece, it will anchor a living room, lounge or home bar and draw every eye as soon as one enters.
In great vintage condition. The refrigerator is in working order. Bears the designer's stamp.
